Fools Rush In

So appalled at the gravity of promises she will have to make that, on her wedding morning, Pam refuses to marry Joe. Her mind is made even firmer when she meets her father Paul, long divorced from her mother, who Pam was taught to consider a frivilous loser. Paul is extremely charming and Pam cannot understand how her marriage would succeed when his failed. Eventually Paul convinces Joe to elope with Pam and he settles down to enjoy a reconciliation with his wife.
