The ship sails and the girls are on their own. They have an adventure with a stowaway, mistake the leader of the ship's band for an admiral and meet two very handsome medical students
Then the girls are off to Paris. Here they get involved with a gas meter that explodes, sleep in a bed that Cardinal Richelieu once used, and convince a great French actor that he should give them acting lessons
