The Prodigious Snob

In this delightful adaptation of Moliere's satirical comedy, Monsieur Jourdain, a wealthy merchant, is prepared to suffer any indignity provided that it is inflicted by someone of high enough stature. He point blank refuses to allow his daughter to marry except into the nobility, but he is made the butt of the joke when he ends up taking part in the wedding to the man of her choice.
