Will Shakespeare Save Us? & Will Shakespeare Save The King!

Two one act plays in which famous speeches and scenes from Shakespeare are acted out as part of a comic story about a bored king and his troupe of players

These versatile plays by Paul Nimmo are suitable for the 11-18 year age range and have been produced with varying ages within the same cast and also performed by adults to a young audience

The plays can be produced as a double bill, alternatively each will stand on its own. Either play can be performed by a small minimum cast of 10 without a set, with few props and modern dress or large cast, traditional set and costumes. The scripts are also ideal for reading aloud by classes or groups and provide an excellent introduction to the works of Shakespeare

The two plays have been successfully performed on tour and at the Shakespeare's Globe in London
